Susy's first day of work, Christina gets up in the wee hours of the morning to take her there...and this is what she was rewarded with :)
When Christina got home, she decided she wanted to go take a walk through the trails in the forest behind the cabin.. So her and Sara bundled up and off they went following the wolf tracks through the wilderness :):)
We finally reached the first point of Pelican Lake
We stopped to enjoy the view...Sara was also sweating..and sat in the snow for awhile...
Christina wanted to see the opposite side of the lake, so we traveled for an hour and a half through the forest and finally reached our destination.
We told Sara's Fiance...that if we were not back in two hours..to call her mom for fear we might be ate... by whatever...so we started truckin' it back to the Cabin
We checked the ice along the side of the lake...decided that it was thick enough to walk on...and as we started...Sara took a tumble..and fell in the snow...believe me...it was not the first.
Christina was leading our two man wolf pack back to the Cabin...Sara slowly followed...out of shape..out of breath...falling..but adventurously trying to keep up
Walking along the ice...it only cracked once :)
We found the point that the Timber Wolf..is found on...and it is here we also found...a bunch of feathers...something clearly became a snack for someone
The way back we thought may be a bit easier......Knee deep in the water somewhere got the blue sky breeze blowin' wind through my hair.....wait...its snow
ANNNNND We're back :)
After a long night shift...this picture was taken at 6:30 in the morning..an hour before we were done.....nice weather to drive home in.....nice cold vehicle..nice icy windows...
You were getting close to that 2 hours! I got a little nervous haha
